We are proud to announce that Sanna Sjöswärd has been awarded the Swedish Association of Professional Photographers & Livonia Print Grant for her documentary project Two Faces.
Two Faces portrays the lives of young women in Iran, exploring identity, dignity and quiet resistance in a society shaped by restrictions. Through details such as hair, clothing and body language, the project reveals how the personal often becomes political, while giving space to inner strength, dreams and resilience.
Through the grant, Two Faces will be realised as a photobook, including full production at Livonia Print, professional pre-press by JK Morris and a travel grant enabling Sanna to attend the printing process start in Riga.
