All our printing methods are Nordic Swan Ecolabel certified – sheet-fed offset, digital printing and web-fed offset.
- Choosing paper – for books marked with Nordic Swan label, 100% Nordic Ecolabelled and inspected paper must be used. Full list with paper, which can be used for Nordic Swan labelled books, can be found on the official web page. This includes not only inside paper, but also endpapers, cover board and other paper used in a book.
- Types of books – we can offer all types of books besides PUR glued books and we are in a process to offer also Nordic Swan labelled boardbooks.
- Materials used in Nordic Swan logo book production:
Foils - feel free to choose any type of foil.
Lamination – you can choose any type of lamination. Only double sided lamination is not allowed.
Inks - all standard inks are availabe, but for pantone inks check compliance with your contact person.
Varnishes - while we are looking for compliant alternatives, we can offer standard offset varnish and two UV spot varnishes – matt relief varnish on laminate and coated paper and gloss varnish on laminate and coated paper.
