Shadow Day is an annual initiative encouraging children and young people to familiarise themselves with diverse occupations and labour environments.
Over the last week, we at Livonia Print delivered six tours of our production plant, showing over 60 youngsters what a printing house looks like and how it transforms publishers' ideas into tangible books.
Through cooperation between schools and businesses, business shadowing initiatives not only promote the integration of new generations into society and the labour market of tomorrow but also help companies see themselves in a new light. Seeing our company through the eyes of these young people inspires us to innovate and continuously create a dynamic work environment.
